It's mid-May! Hello!

♥ Small family portrait as in 2012/05/15. Naomi, Kuro Babycat and Gari. ♥

How is everyone doing?? I hope everyone's doing fine. As for me, I'm fine. Mostly. I'm still broke as shit but what's new.

Also, maybe some of you have already known that I got to see L'Arc~en~Ciel in Singapore and Jakarta. YAAAAYYY. I have no words to describe it really, both were just... magical. It made me realize many things, it made me feel so blessed and glad, it made me feel very proud and happy that I grew up with their music. I really really have no words so let's just leave it at that. :')

A while ago I worked on greeting card designs. I don't want to release the full illustrations before they do, so here is the teaser shot:

Other than Matsuo's birthday illustration, I haven't made any other. Life kind of occupied me at the moment.

My artworks as per today:

The last one is the latest, and also my personal fav. ^u^

I also did impromptu photo-session with Andro a while ago:

My handmade serafuku is doing a good job ww ♫

I guess that's all for now. I might need a micro-blog since I always, always end up writing lo~ng entries here. Or maybe I can use this as a micro-blog as well? Hmm. I'll think about it.

Be happy, everyone! Mwa mwa.

HALA

Atrey did a photo shoot of one of my dresses for my final in 2009, called Hala. With Dayana as the model and Devi as the make-up artist, I was basically crying in my heart because I couldn't be there during the shoot.

Here's a short description I wrote for the facebook set, ended up used everywhere:

H A L A
Hala is the name of a demon of Serbian and Bulgarian mythology that inspired this dress. A stormbringer and a glutton, Hala would try to devour everything it wants, even the moon and sun, causing eclipses. Making friends with them is beneficial too because if they liked you they would spoil you and keep you rich.

As always, Atrey is truly one of my personal favorite photographers. I love how he chooses angles, the mood, the colors, the direction, everything. Also, Dayana's expression is amazing. In this set, Hala was portrayed as both a greed and a lonesome being, which is quite true and very well-aligned to my personal liking. Devi also did a great job on the makeup, emphasizing the eyes.

I could never thank them enough for making this beautiful photoshoot! Next time, for sure, I will have to be there. :)

Pew Pew Baby

As I said before, I had a photo shoot with Atrey. It was really simple and messy and we just threw on whatever that's around, haha.

Actually I wanted to wait until Atrey himself published the series, but I can't wait. So I picked a few personal favorites, and would post the rest after Atrey published it himself. I forgot to put watermarks ._. but oh well, it's not like this is a commercial project or anything.

Here goes, Pew Pew Baby, Naomi Dame photographed by Atreyu Moniaga-- location is my bedroom. ♫

Personally I really like how the photos turned out, they're fun and playful like how we wanted the whole photo shoot to be. Too bad Atrey had to go home early, we could've took more photos. Ah well, there will be more time in the future I'm sure. ;3
